Last Wednesday, Google launched its new Google Base feature that allows
an Internet user to upload anything into a searchable database open to
the public. As Google maintain its mission to organize the world’s
information, this new service would lead to an enormous expansion of
the search engine company’s contents. |

Internet users who use search engines increased over the last year. Based on a study conducted this autumn, search engines are now ranked as second among online tasks. E-mail usage is still the most popular online application. In fact, 77% out of the sampled population used e-mails daily. |
